Description:

B-C/NB Tin battery operated smoking and shoe shining bear made in the 1950's by Alps of Japan. Has been tested and works. Battery compartment is clean, though lid of compartment has signs of corrosion (this does not affect the workings of the toy). Nine inches in height. When switched on bear lifts his left leg and shines his shoe, then leg goes down actions are then repeated. Tinplate detail has some wear. Plush covering also has some wear and is grubby in parts. Nice old toy. Adult collectors only.
