This really nice toy was made by Alps of Japan which was made for the Antique Collectors Tin Club series.
Instructions included, toy appears like new, works perfectly battery compartment is pristine.
The mans left knee cap and pipe are loose but can be put into place quite easily.
When switched on the man's head moves as if he is reading his book then right hand which is holding his pipe lifts to his head then actions are reapeted.
Presentation box is in excellent condition lined with satin.
